Full Lot Transformation

The star of the show in the backyard: a custom pergola built through a collaboration with our friends Potluck.

Change it up…

Excited about their new house and growing family, this client wanted an ecologically sound, dynamic garden that would be friendly to friends, beasts, and babies! Oh, and maybe no mowing!

We covered and flipped the ENTIRE property so that we could start from scratch without taking away any material. New gardens were carved out, old plants kept and replanted, and no-mow low fescue seeded.

We kept the structure of the mid-century bungalow garden intact, but added whimsical elements to create interest: a front bench overlooking a native-planted hillside, and a swoopy crushed gravel terrace, complete with a custom arbor built by our friends and collaborators, Potluck Design + Build.
